1995: The first Hybrid bikes – a mix of race bikes and mountain bikes, these sturdier frames with suspense and comfort become very popular amongst the urban biker looking for something that eats up the road but can take a bit more punishment on a pot-holed pitted road. Steve Webb (future partner and owner) is hired by Mal and Mel, as an apprentice.
